Setting Reminders

Having reminders set on your phones is really helpful. This is a way to not depend so much on our brain to remind us. I don’t know about you but I tend to forget a few things every now and then. Also, it is good to set reminders on the steps to achieve our goals just as we would an appointment. This helps us make our goals a priority and not an afterthought.

Writing Everything Down

Write everything down the night before. This will help you get your day started on the right foot. You don’t want to start your morning trying to figure out what you need to do on that day. Instead, start it knowing what to do so you can hit the ground running.

Meal Prepping for the Week

Meal Prepping is a major key to staying on track with your wellness goals. If you don’t plan what you are eating for the week you have a tendency to fail at eating what’s good for you. Our family normally makes an effort to meal plan on Sundays. Sometimes due to our schedule, we just don’t have the time. We then have to go to Plan B. We make sure we keep delicious quick back up meals when you just don’t have time to meal prep.

Drink More Water

Drink up! Drinking enough water has so many benefits. One huge factor is that it prevents dehydration. We do not want that. Dehydration makes you weak, tired and feeling fatigued. When you feel that way you can’t perform at your best. Make it a priority to drink a lot of water to be the best version of yourself.

Get More Sleep

I know. I know. Get more sleep is easier said than done. We have to try our best to get more sleep anyway we can. It is so beneficial. Did you know that lack of sleep is just as bad as eating trash? Yep, it is. I know sometimes it is just hard to get enough sleep because it always seems like there is so much to do. Try to slip in a nap here or there, you’ll feel the difference immediately.

    These sound delicious!! I enjoy prepping as much food as possible on Sundays, at least to start the week off right. The good thing is that I keep junk food out of my house, so when the prepped meals run out, I don’t end up eating badly! I’m always trying to get better at drinking more water, but tend to forget when I’m running around and getting things done! Thank you for the inspiration to improve! 🙂
