Quick Shrimp and Corn Chowder

This creamy shrimp and corn chowder dish will become your favorite meal of all time. It’s so so easy to make and simply delicious. I guarantee this will be added to your family’s weekly meal plan.
  • 1 16 oz bag of frozen corn
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ onions, diced
  • 1 quart chicken stock
  • 1 quart half and half
  • ½ tablespoon of kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 pound of shrimp, thawed
  1. Melt butter is a large pot and whisk in the flour to make a light roux.
  2. Add onion and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Blend in chicken stock and bring to a light boil.
  4. Blend in half and half.
  5. Add corn and seasonings
  6. Lower heat to a simmer. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  7. Add shrimp and cook about 5 minutes.
