Fried Chicken Sliders with Slaw

These Fried Chicken Sliders are crispy, juicy and packed with flavor. They are placed onto buns and topped with a creamy slaw. Serve them at room temperature or pipping hot.

Ingredients
  

Slaw

  • 16 oz. bag coleslaw
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Seasoned chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless thighs, each one cut into 3 pieces for a total of 12
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon complete seasoning
  • teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Fried Chicken Sliders

  • 1 ¼ cups flour all-purpose
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 slider rolls split and toasted

Instructions
 

Slaw

  • Combine coleslaw, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, honey mustard, salt and pepper; set aside

Seasoned Chicken

  • Place chicken in a bowl and mix with seasonings.

Fried Chicken Sliders

  • Combine flour, cornstarch and seasonings in a Ziploc bag. Add the chicken to the bag, seal, and shake to coat.
    Heat oil in 12-inch cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add the chicken to the skillet cooking until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side. Transfer chicken to a paper towel- line dish

Assembly

  • Place chicken on the bottom of the slider bun and top with slaw evenly among sliders.
