Ingredients
  

Tartar Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cup of sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Coleslaw

  • 2 1/2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sweet relish juice
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Fish

  • 1 ½ pound cod
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste

Batter

  • 1 cup self -rising flour
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoning salt
  • teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup club soda

Assemble for the Fried Fish Tacos

  • Pace® Chunky Salsa 24 oz
  • 12 street style tacos
  • Cilantro garnish

Instructions
 

To Make The Tartar Sauce:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside until ready to use.

To Make The Coleslaw:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside until ready to use.

To Make The Fish:

  • Heat oil in a skillet to 360°In a bowl, mix flour, seasonings, and club soda together. Season fish evenly with salt and pepper. Cut fish into strips. Dredge strips in batter then fry.Fry the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until evenly golden brown.

To Assemble The Tacos:

  • Fill a street style tortilla with a few tablespoons of the slaw, followed by the fish, Pace® Chunky Salsa. Drizzle with the tartar sauce. Garnish with cilantro, if desired.
