Ingredients
1pack of yellow rice5 oz
2tablespoonsof olive oil
½onionchopped
½green pepper
1garlic cloveminced ( equaled 1 teaspoon)
1pack of turkey smoked sausagesliced
1small can of tomato sauce6 oz
1lb.raw shrimptails off
1½teaspoonCreole seasoning
salt and pepper to tasteif needed
Instructions
Cook rice according to packaging directions.
In a large skillet saute onion, pepper, and garlic in oil for about 2 minutes on medium heat.
Add sausage and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add cooked rice and stir in tomato sauce.
Add seasonings.
Cook about 15-20 minutes until the mixture is firm.
