Easy Baked Cajun Salmon Recipe

This Baked Cajun Salmon Recipe is super quick to make and comes out delicious every time! This salmon is seasoned then baked until perfection!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pound salmon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Parsley and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Rinse salmon, pat dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter and seasonings.
  • Season salmon with an even layer of the seasoning mixture on both sides. Place salmon skin side down in the bottom of a large cast iron skillet. ( You can also use a rimmed baking sheet. If you do make sure to line it with aluminum foil.)
  • Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes on the middle position of the oven rack.
  • Serve immediately with lemon. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
