16 oz. of plant-based ground 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 small onion finely diced 4 cloves garlic minced 2 celery stalk chopped 1 medium green bell pepper 1 medium red pepper 1-2 teaspoon creole seasoning depending on if you want it mild or hot. 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon pepper 1 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup vegetable broth divided 4 cups white rice cooked Green onion chopped for garnish
In a large saute pan, heat oil over medium-high heat and add plant-based ground meat. Saute until browned, about 10 minutes.
Add vegetables and garlic. Saute until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add seasonings and stir until well combined. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Deglaze pan with ½ cup of vegetable broth and cook down, about 5 minutes.
Add rice and ½ cup broth. Cook until broth is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Serve and garnish with green onions.
