Do you ever wonder if there is an easier way than just being a busy parent all the time?

I’m here to tell you that you might be in a season of just being busy but there are some apps for busy moms like you and me that can help ease some of the overwhelming feelings of mom life.

Let me share with you some apps for moms that will help lighten your load.

Instacart

If you are too busy to go to the grocery store, this app will be a lifesaver. It’s a personal shopping service that allows you to place grocery orders online at well-known grocery stores and have them delivered right to your front door in as little as one hour. I have used the service several times. I love how when our weekends are packed with sports I don’t have to stress going to the grocery store.

ShopSavvy

Allows you to scan barcodes and QR codes and find various retailers that sell the product.  It allows you to compare prices and reviews so that you can make an informed purchase and always pay the right price.

Kid Control

We have made this app a must-have in our family.  Whenever we want to know where one another is, this app provides live GPS updates of our family members locations in a matter of seconds.

Wunderlist

This is a list making app. You can create a list for every aspect of your life. Our family has a grocery list, home repairs, areas to declutter. I love how you can add different family members to the list to collaborate with each other on our phones.

Evernote

This app really helps you have everything at your fingertips. It allows you take notes, capture photos, store documents. The thing I really love is how everything you put in the app is completely searchable.

Waze

Waze makes you prepare for a road trip in a matter of seconds.  You can see what is to be expected on your entire route before you even get into your car. Very helpful for people who carpool, slug, or care about live traffic updates.

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime has everything. You can have anything delivered to you as early as the same day or in two days.  Simply Amazing. Amazon is bae! My Amazon app is another one of my most used apps. So easy to order diapers, wipes, gifts and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Read reviews, search registries, get deal alerts, and scan items by barcode to search. I also use it to watch TV shows, listen to music and read magazines.

Target

I love using Target’s in store pick up. You simply order what you need online and you can pick up your order within a few hours. I use this for diapers, wipes, or for my honey to get list. This the best way to send your hubby to the store to get the things you need. I guarantee you they will love going to the store for you if they only have to show id and confirmation instead of roaming aisles.

Nextdoor

This a great neighborhood app.  Nextdoor can help you cleaning services, get recommendations, share safety tips and lets you know of criminal activity.

Dosh

Dosh is a cash back app that helps you get cash back when you shop, eat at restaurants, or travel.  All you have to do is link your debit card or credit card to the app. Now when you eat, shop, or travel as much as you normally would, you get cashback automatically when you shop at any of the Dosh approved in-store or online vendors.

Ebates

This app allows you to earn cash back from over several popular retail stores.  Stores pay Ebates for sending you to their sites to make purchases, and Ebates shares the commission with you as Cash Back. You can shop online for your kid’s clothing and earn cash back.

Pocket

This is one of my favorite bookmarking app and most used. It allows you to save all your online reading material in your “pocket” ready for you to review it, tag it, categorize it and read it at your convenience.  I used to hate when I would be reading an article and got distracted and couldn’t find the article. Now I immediately “pocket” every article I want to read. I also love it for just saving articles when I have downtime to read later.

Qustodio

This app is much needed in today’s world of the Internet.  If your child has a computer, tablet, or phone you must download Qustodio! It gives parents control over blocking inappropriate content, balances screen time, controls games and app, monitors social networks, monitors calls, and SMS messages, and tracks the location of said device.  It’s a one-stop security shop that every parent needs.

These are some must-have apps for moms. I hope you’re all ready using some and if not I hope you download them right now to help you with managing your day today. We have to embrace technology and let it help us with conquering our day so we can be productive moms that won’t settle taking being frustrated and overwhelmed as a reality.

Thanks for sharing this article! I have most of them (great minds think alike, eh?) but some I’ve never heard of. I’m interested in the Qustodio since we just got our kids tablets. Thanks for a great list Dee!
