When life is so busy the last thing you think of is leaving your house for date night. I realized time with your hubby is important. So instead of letting date night fall by the wayside, enjoy some of these fun date ideas at home.

Here are some things couples can do at home:

Take a Bubble Bath Together

Enjoy a candlelight bubble bath that is both romantic and relaxing. Add some relaxing bubble bath soap or some essential oils.

Netflix and Chill

Nothing like a chill Netflix movie night over some wings. Our last Netflix and chill night we watched Birdbox.

Cook Dinner Together

Instead of one person doing all the work, you and your husband can cook a recipe together. Here are some to get you started.

Play a Board Game

Have a game night. Nothing beats bringing back memories of chilling and playing a board game on a Friday or Saturday night.

Do a Puzzle Together

Put together a nice puzzle while sipping some wine and conversing. If you like you can get it framed to be hung up.

Make take out fun by adding some candles to take it up a notch to be a bit fancy.

This is on my list of things to try. Groupon has deals every so often for in-home massages.

Order a nice outfit together for your next date night. Or simple just shop for things you have been wanting to get for a while.

Have an Indoor Picnic

Grab a blanket, some deli meat, bread, and chips and enjoy an indoor picnic in your living room.

Work out together

Enjoy a fitness night together if you have an at home gym or some at home workout DVDS.

Fondue Night

Chocolate covered anything will be a night of fun. Grab your favorite fruits and snacks and make it a fondue night.

Watch each other’s favorite movie or TV show

Enjoy each other’s favorite movie or TV show. It’s always interesting to see what each other picks out to watch.
