Use saute function or browning function (heat oil and butter)

Ingredients
Chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pound chicken thighs diced
Instant Pot Chicken Spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion (1/2 cup) chopped fine
- 1/2 red pepper(1/2 cup) chopped fine
- 1/2 green pepper(1/2 cup) chopped fine
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound spaghetti noodles broken in half
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups of Mexican cheese
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, salt.
- Using saute or browning function, heat oil and butter.
- Stir in onions, peppers, seasonings and cook about 3 minutes.
- Stir in broth.
- Add chicken.
- Add pasta.
- Lock lid in place and close pressure value. Cook high for 5 minutes.
- Turn off pressure cooker and quick release pressure. Carefully remove lid, allowing steam to escape.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook using saute/browning function until heavy cream has thickened and pasta is fully tender, 2 to 5 minutes. Turn off pressure cooker.
- Add cheese 1 cup at a time until melted and smooth.
Notes
