Lemon Pepper Salmon Baked in Foil Ingredients

(Note: The full list of ingredients and detailed instructions are available in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.)

This recipe has simple ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to make this lemon pepper salmon:

  • An entire side of salmon

  • Unsalted butter, honey, fresh lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, and paprika

How to make Bake Lemon Pepper Salmon?

  1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray it with vegetable oil spray.

  2. Combine the butter, lemon juice, honey, and seasonings in a small bowl. It will form a paste-like topping.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the top of the salmon skin-side down on a cookie sheet.

  4. Bake until it is done and garnish with fresh parsley.

How Long Do You Bake Salmon?

Salmon has a baking time of 20-25 minutes to reach an internal temperature of 145°F/63°C at the thickest part of the salmon.

I recommend using an instant read thermometer. This takes all the guesswork out of knowing if a dish is done.

Another way to tell if baked salmon is done is when the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

You can also place it under the broiler for about 2-4 minutes to get a crispy top.

Make note that the cooking time also depends on the thickness of your salmon.

How to store the Leftover Salmon?

This recipe can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
